Livio Melina è Teologo Moralista. Già Ordinario di Teologia morale (dal 1996 al 2019) presso il Pontificio Istituto Giovanni Paolo II per Studi su Matrimonio e Famiglia a Roma, di cui fu Preside dal 2006 al 2016. Vi ha fondato e diretto l’Area Internazionale di Ricerca in Teologia morale. Membro ordinario della Pontificia Accademia di Teologia, è stato Direttore scientifico della rivista Anthropotes. È stato visiting Professor a Washington DC e a Melbourne, ed ha tenuto corsi e conferenze in varie Università internazionali.

De 1996 a 2019 fue profesor ordinario de teología moral en el Pontificio Instituto Juan Pablo II para Estudios sobre el Matrimonio y la Familia de Roma, del que fue presidente de 2006 a 2016. En el Instituto fundó y dirigió el Área Internacional de Investigación sobre Teología Moral. Es miembro ordinario de la Academia Pontificia de Teología y ha sido Director Científico de la revista académica Anthropotes. Fue también profesor invitado en Washington DC y Melbourne y ha impartido cursos y conferencias en varias universidades internacionales.
Livio Melina is a moral theologian. From 1996-2019 he has been ordinary professor of moral theology at the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family in Rome, serving as its President from 2006-2016. At the Institute he has founded and directed the International Research Area in Moral Theology. He is an ordinary member of the Pontifical Academy of Theology and has been the Scientific Director of the academic journal Anthropotes. He has been visiting professor in Washington DC and Melbourne and has given courses and lectures at various international universities.

De 1996 à 2019, il a été professeur ordinaire de théologie morale à l’Institut pontifical Jean-Paul II pour les études sur le mariage et la famille à Rome, dont il a été le président de 2006 à 2016. À l’Institut, il a fondé et dirigé l’Aire Internationale de Recherche en Théologie Morale. Il est membre ordinaire de l’Académie Pontificale de Théologie et a été le directeur scientifique de la revue universitaire Anthropotes. Il a été professeur invité à Washington DC et à Melbourne et a donné des cours et des conférences dans diverses universités internationales.

Von 1996-2019 war er ordentlicher Professor für Moraltheologie am Päpstlichen Institut Johannes Paul II. für Studien über Ehe und Familie in Rom, dessen Präsident er von 2006-2016 war. Am Institut hat er den Internationalen Forschungsbereich für Moraltheologie gegründet und geleitet. Er ist ordentliches Mitglied der Päpstlichen Akademie für Theologie und war wissenschaftlicher Leiter der Fachzeitschrift Anthropotes. Er war Gastprofessor in Washington DC und in Melbourne und hat Kurse und Vorträge an verschiedenen internationalen Universitäten gehalten.
