Jarosław Merecki is a priest of the religious Congregation Societas Divini Salvatoris. He studied theology and philosophy in Poland and Lichtenstein, and then obtained his doctorate at the Catholic University of Lublin under the direction of Tadeusz Styczeń. After several years as a researcher at the same University, in 2001 he came to Rome as a professor at the John Paul II Institute, dedicated to studies on marriage and the family. Since 2000 he has been Vice-director of the journal Ethos and is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Wojtyła Research Chair at the John Paul II Institute.

Jarosław Merecki est un prêtre de la Congrégation religieuse Societas Divini Salvatoris. Il a étudié la théologie et la philosophie en Pologne et au Lichtenstein, puis a obtenu son doctorat à l’Université catholique de Lublin sous la direction de Tadeusz Styczeń. Après plusieurs années de recherche dans cette même université, il est venu à Rome en 2001 en tant que professeur à l’Institut Jean-Paul II, dédié aux études sur le mariage et la famille. Depuis 2000, il est vice-directeur de la revue Ethos et membre du comité scientifique de la chaire de recherche Wojtyła à l’Institut Jean-Paul II.

Jarosław Merecki ist Priester der Ordenskongregation Societas Divini Salvatoris. Er studierte Theologie und Philosophie in Polen und Lichtenstein und promovierte anschließend an der Katholischen Universität Lublin unter der Leitung von Tadeusz Styczeń. Nach mehreren Jahren als Forscher an derselben Universität kam er 2001 als Professor an das sich Studien über Ehe und Familie widmende Institut Johannes Paul II. nach Rom. Seit 2000 ist er Vizedirektor der Zeitschrift Ethos und Mitglied des wissenschaftlichen Komitees des Wojtyła-Forschungslehrstuhls am Institut Johannes Paul II.
