Alain Mattheeuws

Father Alain Mattheeuws is a Jesuit (1973), priest (1985), biologist by training, and holds a licentiate in moral theology from the Gregorian University and a doctorate in theology from the Institut Catholique de Toulouse. He was also ordinary professor at the Jesuit Faculty of Theology (I.É.T.) in Brussels. A guest lecturer at the Studium de Notre-Dame de Paris and the Studium de Notre-Dame de Vie de Venasque, he is pastorally committed to accompanying families and young people in formation for the priesthood. He regularly gives retreats on the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius and sessions on spiritual guidance.
